1901 - Livermore Southern Pacific Depot. August Hagemann, age 12, standing under water tower “teapot”.
1925 - “Blacksmith Square.” Southwest corner of N. Lizzie St. and Rail Road Ave. Farmer’s Union (no longer there) in background.
1918 - Building of St. Michael’s Church. After the original wooden St. Michael’s built in 1872/1890, burned down in 1916, this double towered stucco church was built on the south east corner of Maple and Fourth Sts.
1929 - The R.E. Merritt Building. Built in 1914, the Coast Manufacturing and Supply Company administration building on Trevarno Rd. has been used by LARPD.
1905 - Livermore Flagpole. Erected in 1905 on Admissions Day, the original flagpole was 126 feet tall and was located in the middle of the Lizzie St. ( today Livermore Ave.).
1896 - Dr. Cameron G. Gordon House. (Herald Midwinter Edition, 1896) Built in 1895, originally located on the northwest corner of K and Fourth Sts., today is sited at Concannon Winery..
1920 - “Golden Triangle.” Aerial (Lawless Drug postcard) showing the location of where the Livermore Cinema is today.
1911 - Napa Motorcycle Race. The 1911 Napa Motorcycle Race began in Livermore and ended in Oakland. ( today Livermore Ave.)
1920 - D. R. Rees House: 737 South M St. Livermore’s best example of a Queen Anne Victorian was built around 1895.
1950 - The Hub. Torn down in the mid 1970’s, The Hub was located on the northwest corner of First St. and Livermore Ave. where Lizzie Fountain is today.
1925 - Wedding Party and Fountain at Ravenswood. In 1925, Nina Ferrario married Jos Concannon at Ravenswood. This photo shows Nina and sister Eva
1930 - Livermore High School. Dedicated in 1930, the building was upgraded with stucco in 1937 as a WPA project.
1935 - The Palace Hotel. The Washington Hotel, built in 1880’s on the south east corner of First and L Sts. became the Palace hotel in 1914. It was torn down in 1940. The Donut Wheel is there today.
1911 - The Carnegie Library Building. H.R. Anderson with his mare Dolly outside the newly finished Carnegie Library on Third St. between J and K Sts. .
1935 - The Schenone Building. Built in 1914, the Schenone building housed a motion picture theater. It is still in the downtown today.
1945 - Old City Hall and Fire Station #1. The Livermore light bulb was housed in Fire Station #1 located on the south east corner of McLeod and First St. It’s been moved to Fire Station #6.
1940 - Ravenswood. Located on Arroyo Rd., Ravenswood was the estate of San Francisco political boss Richard Buckley, developed in 1885.
1920 - Entrance to Coast Manufacturing and Supply Company. CMSC opened operation in Livermore in 1913. Homes were built along this street (now Trevarno Road) for the company officers.
1970 - Concannon Plaque and Bell. Concannon Plaque and Bell, located on the south side of the winery building.
